Cool and I on a mini adventure after training today. We start a 6 to 8 week rehab plan this week get him back working after a minor injury in december. Today was just a feeler to where he is. Afterwards, he was very curious of his surroundings. I took his lead and followed him. I think it's fair, since he will have to follow my lead through rehab. This was a good give and take opportunity to bond with him.

While looking for pictures to post, I came across of this one of my daughter and Figa.. one of the school ponies we said goodbye to a couple years back.

This picture reminded me that, the future of horsewelfare, and better horse welfare standards doesn't lie in the adults of the horse world now, but in the adults of the horse world in the future.

It is our job to teach them. To educate them. To introduce them to new information, and show them more than just the traditional was of doing things.

They are the future... the power ends up with them... not us now.
